About
GraceAnn Visser, MAAT, ATR-BC
GraceAnn Visser is the owner and founder of Creo Origins. GraceAnn is a Nashville transplant, and is about as close to it gets as being a Nashville Native without actually being born in Tennessee. GraceAnn is a true mom-preneur as she is the acting Director of Creo Origins, in addition to an Art and Art Therapy Professor at Lipscomb University, a Photographer, and a Studio Manager. She enjoys and thrives on the variety and creativity she is able to embrace with her various outward expressions of her creativity. Above all, though, GraceAnn is a mother to three beautiful children who are just as creative and bold as she is. GraceAnn and her husband, Andrew, live in Nashville, TN.

While GraceAnn is a Board Certified Art Therapist, she considers herself - above all - an educator and mentor. When it all boils down, therapists, photographers, professors are all teaching people things. They are teaching respect, self-love, self-care, exploration, courage, bravery, grounding techniques, how to listen to one's own self... everything boils down to teaching. GraceAnn comes from a long line of teachers, and loves being able to revolutionize the education industry.

GraceAnn earned her bachelors in Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography from Belmont University in 2009, and then completed her Masters of Art in Art Therapy at the School of the Art Institute in 2012. She earned her ATR in 2014, and then sat for and passed the ATR-BC exam in 2016.

THE BIRTH OF CREO ORIGINS

For years, GraceAnn knew she would own her own business. She imagined Creo Origins as more of an art based business, but it wasn't until she began supervising other Art Therapists that she saw the full potential of what Creo Origins could be. Creo is latin for "to create", and origins means the beginning, the place where something started from. These together are the vision GraceAnn has for life - Where creativity begins.
